Field near Jumbo

Near the shopping area of Woenselse Heide is a small green park. It is a great place for children of the surrounding houses to play football and other games. Therefore the municipality of Eindhoven made a plan to pave half of the park to make it a better playing square. However, the people living around the square did not agree on this, the grass is what makes it a beautiful area. When paving it, it will become grey and dull and more dangerous for the children when they fall. To prevent this of coming they organized a protest-day. Neighbors worked together to make a statement towards the municipality, and now the grass will remain.
